Sacramentalia rosaries provide a devotional framework designed with considered use of colour to assist meditation on the Sacred Mysteries of the Rosary. Through the association of particular colours with particular mysteries, Sacramentalia rosaries jog memory, inspirit contemplation, and sustain focus.

Colour, in this context, serves as a quiet aid to devotion. Long recognized within the Church’s liturgical and artistic tradition, colour helps illuminate meaning, reinforce remembrance and gently guide the soul toward the realities being contemplated. In this way, each hue is an instrument—at the service of prayer, and ultimately, of encounter with the mysteries of Christ.

The work of designing, assembling and providing sacramentals is undertaken by Sacramentalia in the spirit of  2 Corinthians 4:5, to assist in the Church's mission to foster prayer, reverence and devotion.

The Latin word sacramentalia is the plural of sacramentale, meaning “sacramental.”
